Member FAQ

For customers using loyalty cards and rewards

The easiest way is to log into your account on our website - all your loyalty cards will be waiting there in one place. You can also scan the QR code displayed at the business, or use any link the business has shared with you. Once you're signed in, your cards, balances, and available rewards are all on your dashboard.
Every business on PerkHit uses our instant access system, so you can start earning right away. Just scan the QR code at the business and you'll automatically get a unique 7-digit member code - that's your account. No forms, no password, no app to download. It's technically an account, it just doesn't require an email to get started. We do encourage you to add your email at your convenience in your profile settings - it only takes a moment and makes sure you can always get back to your rewards from any device.
Your member code is a unique 7-digit alphanumeric code that identifies your account. If you're using instant access (no email signup), this code is how staff can look you up if you forget your phone or need help. You can find it at the top of any loyalty card.
When you make a purchase, present your loyalty card from your phone. The card has a unique QR code. The store staff will scan it to add points to your account.
Once you have enough points, open the specific reward and tap 'Claim Reward'. A QR code will be generated for the store staff to scan. Your points will be deducted, and you will receive your reward.
Absolutely! Go to your Profile settings and add your email address. This lets you access your account from any device and receive special offers from businesses. All your points and progress transfer over - nothing is lost.
If you're using instant access (no email), your account is tied to your device. If you lose your device, you won't be able to access that account. This is why we recommend adding your email - it takes 10 seconds and protects your rewards.
No, the staff will only see the name you provided at registration and your unique membership code. Your email and other details remain private.
Business owners can see your email address and name, and whether you've allowed them to send you special offers. They can't access any other personal details.
Yes! Show them your member code (displayed on your loyalty cards) or they can search by your name if you added one. The instant access feature works great for quick in-store rewards.
Log into your account on our website. Your points balance will be displayed on each loyalty card.
Yes, points can be transfered between members with the 'Request Points' feature.
Log into your account on our website to retrieve your card. If you added an email, just sign in and your cards will be there. If you used instant access without adding an email, your account was tied to that device and unfortunately cannot be recovered - which is why we recommend adding your email as soon as you can. If you need further help, contact our support team.
It depends on the business. Each loyalty card has its own expiration settings configured by the business owner. Some businesses set points to expire after a period of inactivity, others don't expire them at all. Check the terms on your specific loyalty card or ask the business directly if you're unsure.
Log into your account and go to the 'Profile' section. Make the necessary changes and save your updates.
This is an alternative way to get your points without showing your QR code. Ask the staff to generate a short code for you after your purchase. They'll see it on their terminal and read it to you. Enter it on your loyalty card and your points are added instantly. Codes expire after a short time, so enter it before you leave.
Request Points works two ways. At the shop, you can tap "Request Points" on your loyalty card to generate a special QR code - show it to staff and they scan it to add your points, great if you forgot before paying. You can also generate a shareable request link for any card and send it to anyone - not just staff. When someone opens your link and sends points, they land on your card automatically. Request links are limited to 3 uses each.
If a business has referrals enabled, you can earn bonus points by bringing in new customers. Go to the Referrals section on your loyalty card to get your unique referral link, then share it with friends via text, email, or social media. When your friend scans in and makes their first purchase, you both earn bonus points. The exact reward amount is set by the business.

Partner FAQ

For business owners managing loyalty programs

After registering, you can configure your loyalty program, add rewards, and customize your business profile from the dashboard.
PerkHit uses instant access (Anonymous Members) to let your customers start earning rewards immediately without signing up. They get a unique member code instantly and can begin collecting points or stamps right away. This dramatically reduces friction and increases participation. Customers can add their email later if they want multi-device access or marketing communications. This feature is enabled platform-wide for all businesses.
Every instant access customer gets a unique 7-digit member code. Your staff can search by this code, or by the customer's name if they provided one. The system works exactly the same - scan, reward, done.
Yes! Instant access customers are real members - they earn, redeem, and engage just like email-registered members. The only difference is they haven't added an email yet.
You can create points-based rewards, stamp cards, or vouchers. Each can be customized with your own branding and redemption rules.
Your dashboard provides detailed analytics including total members, active cards, points issued, and rewards claimed.
Yes, you can add and manage multiple business locations from a single account, each with its own staff and settings.
Go to the Staff section in your dashboard and add team members with their email addresses. They'll receive an invitation to access the system.
You can see customer names, email addresses, and their opt-in status for marketing communications. Full contact details remain private.
Yes, you can send targeted promotions to customers who have opted in to receive marketing communications from your business.
You can export customer lists and transaction data from your dashboard analytics section in CSV format.
Enter Code gives your staff a way to credit points without scanning a QR code. Your staff generates a short code directly from their terminal after a purchase. They read it aloud to the customer, the customer enters it on their loyalty card, and points are applied instantly. Codes are valid for a limited time and can only be used once. It's useful for busy counters or situations where scanning isn't convenient.
Request Points lets customers initiate the points transaction from their phone instead of waiting for staff to scan them. The customer taps "Request Points" on their loyalty card, which generates a QR code. Your staff scans that code, enters the purchase amount, and points are added. This is a great fallback if a customer forgot to show their card before paying.
Enable referrals in your loyalty card settings. Set the bonus points for the referring customer and the welcome bonus for the new customer. Once enabled, your members can share their unique referral link. When a referred friend makes their first qualifying purchase, both earn the bonus automatically. You can track referral activity and points awarded in your analytics dashboard.

Staff FAQ

For employees processing rewards at the point of sale

Use the scan function in your staff app or dashboard. The customer will show you their QR code on their phone.
It works exactly like regular customers. They show you their QR code, you scan it, add points or stamps, and confirm. If they don't have their phone, search for their 7-digit member code or their name.
Technically, nothing for you! Both types earn points the same way. Instant access customers just haven't added an email yet. Their account is identified by a 7-digit member code instead of an email address.
You can manually enter the membership code displayed below the QR code on the customer's card.
After scanning the customer card, enter the purchase amount or number of points to add, then confirm the transaction.
When a customer claims a reward, scan the reward QR code they show you. This will verify and redeem the reward.
You can see the customer name and membership code. Email addresses and other personal details are not visible to staff.
Direct the customer to your manager or business owner. They have access to the full transaction history and can review and adjust balances if needed. If the issue requires additional help beyond what they can resolve, the owner can reach out to support.
Point refunds must be processed by a manager or business owner through the main dashboard.
Enter Code is an alternative to scanning. From your staff terminal, tap "Generate Code" after a purchase. A short code will appear on your screen. Read the code to the customer - they enter it directly on their loyalty card and points are added instantly. The code expires after a short time, so make sure the customer enters it before they leave. Use this when scanning isn't working or isn't convenient.
Request Points is when a customer initiates the points process from their side. Instead of showing you their card QR code, they tap "Request Points" on their loyalty card and a special QR appears. You scan that QR from your terminal, enter the purchase amount, and confirm - points are added to their account just like a normal scan. If a customer shows you a different QR than usual, this is probably what it is.
